I`m a passionate person. I`m childish. Serious. I`m committed. I`m a teaser. I`m a die-hard fan of art, nature, little [but so meaningful] things. I cherish my family. I appreciate beauty, nature, real friendship. I fall for heart-felt hugs, forehead kisses, sunsets and long walks. I`m a believer, always searching for happiness wherever I go. :)

Funny or not?

..I would have to say "No. Not really."
I am enormously grateful for the multitude of laughs, expeditions, drawbacks, scars, comebacks, breakthroughs, tears, smiles, critics, mistakes, gestures.. basically every single thing, experience or person that has come into my life some way or another. They`ve paved my way with lessons meant to allow me to discover the world as I see it now -fascinatingly ambiguous. I cannot stop observing, wondering, trying to interprete any single bit of surrounding life; how everything has its defined purpose and order and, even interupted or changed, it goes on, finding another way. There is no pause. No stopping. Just life -following its course. Still.. it makes me wonder,. all to what end?

`Cause what anguishes me the most is the fact that we don't get unlimited chances to have or say the things we want, and this I know..

So, YES, we should find the courage to speak up and show our most vivid thoughts. To say "Thank you" or "You just made my day" or just spontaneously go and hug/ congratulate someone; anything that we want to do/ say but we usually end up repressing or procrastinating. For there is no doubtless tomorrow or the next time, only now.

No "maybe". No "what if". No fear. No regrets.

Can money buy happiness?

“Can money buy happiness?” is a highly debated issue nowadays. The opinions are widely spread and, as far as I`ve noticed, prevailing are the “Time is money” and the “Enjoy every single moment” categories of people.

What I think constitutes a problem is the fact that an increasingly high number of persons sustain that “happiness is not all about money but it`s ensured by it” –which basically means that money do have the ability to buy happiness, but in a more diplomatic way. Practically, everywhere one looks there are racing-for-money adults, teenagers that see no problem in taking mostly anything for granted, children that are more concerned about looks, new technology and computer games than naturally enjoying their childhood; even in parks, one can see parents accompanying their children and notice that a significant number of them incessantly show their many other concerns (by constantly watching the time, speaking on the phone, providing straight, monosyllabic answers etc.) instead of pressing “Pause” and gloating over that quality time opportunity.

“Some people are so poor, all they have is money” is the quote that emerges in my mind. We`ve forgotten the critical purpose of self knowledge, auto-limitations and consistency. We are effortlessly influenced by society, trends and everyday situations that we`ve lost contact with our true selves.  We encounter ourselves misdirecting the joy brought by the things that really matter to the number of (mostly material) objectives completed.

There`s not enough time allocation towards authenticity and reasoning, but an increase in the superficiality level and a tendency towards goal-oriented behaviors, which ultimately lead to the misinterpretation of the discrepancy between genuine happiness and evanescent satisfaction.

I say whenever you`re in doubt, just look into your heart. The answer is definitely in there somewhere and is usually the simplest one. We just tend to make a big deal out of everything (Yeah.. not so wise.)

Fear of what?!

Ever since we open the door and up until we put an end to a new day, we make decisions based on the level of fear each and every action implies. We live in the fear of droping out of our COMFORT ZONE. We throw away the opportunity of discovering all the magnificent feelings that come with trying, believing, risking.. and all from the fear of [God forbids!] becoming vulnerable.
For instance, wouldn`t it be far more worth it to spend our lifes looking for that ONE person who completes us, rather than settle for a filled-with-routine cohabitation with A companion? Isn`t this continuously and publicly sentiment of "love" actually presumed to be "from the bottom of the heart" and shared through a series of meaningful, win-it-all glances, smiles, gestures? Aren`t we supposed to become better human beings with every single second spent near the "loved" one, to know that nothing could ever affect us and that together we are unstoppable? Whatever happened with the power of heart-felt hugs and forehead kisses to instantly make anything right?
And even if not reciprocated or not found, wouldn`t still be worth it to know we`ve been GIFTED enough to even feel this way? After all, there`s a reason hidden in everything and a time for everyone; so why waste, avoid or postpone them, when the unforeseeable is chasing our every step? `Cause, make no mistake, fear applies to plenty of areas we decide upon, from education and  jobs, to preferances and hobbies. It has no limits, so why should we?

I say FIND and DEVELOP your most vivid passions, FIGHT incessantly for the right causes, find the power to RISK and NEVER GIVE UP!

Momentul potrivit. Regrete.

El? Nu, doar EU!

Acum? Am învăţat că trece fără a da de veste, că cerne-n urma-i lecţii şi răspunsuri, că lasă răni adânci, uneori goluri.. uneori amintiri rămase într-un colţ, ce, odată aduse, vindecă ori alină.

E timpul! E timpul SĂ SPUNEM şi SĂ FACEM ce simţim! E timpul SĂ IERTAM, SĂ DARUIM, SĂ IUBIM! E timpul SĂ VREM, SĂ CREDEM, SĂ RISCĂM! E timpul SĂ NE BUCURĂM  de tot ce-i bun şi ne-nconjoară, SĂ MULŢUMIM necontenit!

         E timpul!..

In persuit of the essence

In persuit of the essence

But what are the words actually? Where do they come from, and where are they shaping their course to? Are they energy, substance or ineffable?
Well… When monocracy seemed to have been installed forever, the refuge was the presence of the words, of the language, of the phantoms of imagination. Brilliant ideas or swooshed humdrums. Survival. The words weren’t able to change destinies, but they were therapeutic in maintaining humanity right-minded.
In America for instance, time is everything. It is sold on TV, in every push cart with hot-dogs, in the offices of insurance companies, in slot-machines, in the hail “Have a nice day!”– that everyone automatically utters for the only reason- of getting rid of you.
The economy of concentrated words and formulas of conventional language doesn’t come, in our case, from bareness, but from the fear of not delaying too much in a phrase that wouldn’t bring anything extra besides “Have a nice day! Time is money.”
Let’s take, for instance, the most used word in America: ^love^, that was repeated until nothing was left of it. In there, everybody loves from morning to evening and nobody restrains from making their love public. Before hanging up, either you talk with your husband, your child, your best friend or a colleague, you’ll automatically say “love you”, a sort of “see you!” but with cordial assertions.
Love broadens to objects, dishes, landscapes and situations. You can incessantly hear: Oh, my God, I love this, I love that… without tinge, ignoring the existence of the synonyms (between liking, cherishing, having an appeal for somebody and loving it’s a difference based not only on intensity, but on time too). Thus, the word disappears, its force cancels, its sense evanesces, and the unthinkingly invoked love stands for.. nothing.
It used to be so hard to utter loving words, what insensate pirouettes were making the phrases, how people used to ponder their intensity, to use an entire allusive linguistic arsenal, convinced that the inhibition it’s part of the education and that it would be indecent to steam the mystery and the energy of the most powerful word by randomly pronouncing it, or that once uttered, people would feel vulnerable. And what if, furthermore, the words would blunder into a wall? Of all that can humiliate us, the ridicule is the most blushful, isn’t it?
Happiness’s tints hover between entertainment, having fun and enjoying, palliative obsessions to induce yourself the idea that you are actually doing something with your life. In the halls of the theatres from Broadway the comic is haunted with every gesture and every word, followed by laughter bursts.
Paradoxically, the excessive use of pithy words (love, happiness, God, etc.) is, in fact, using occasions to shun living profoundly their sense. The language is used in reverse, not for loosing and communicating, but for hiding us beyond shallow words, for making us sink in ourselves.
